LTD/.../BRISBANE' at upper left & solid border around the oval glassine window both in green, 'SOUTHERN SALES LTD, HEAD OFFICE, SYDNEY' imprint on reverse, used with 1912 Brisbane machine roller cancel, some mostly minor bends. Presumably the imprint
on the reverse is the firm that manufactured the envelope. Rare.

Extensive collection mounted into Manning 'Queensland Numeral Cancels' (first edition) ring-bound book alongside the relevant entry,
stated to contain NNS (number not seen) x7, RRRRR x37, RRRR x62 and RRR x65 and includes many RR & R numerals also, noted '146' on Chalon 1d red, '159' on Postal Fiscal 2/- orange, then through up to '676' & '682' (both very fine to superb) and '722'
& '724', also a few on Kangaroos & KGV Heads including '266', '501', '544' & '617', Railway Numerals noted '75' in horizontal bars & '657' in vertical bars (both RRRRR), a couple of coloured inks & manuscript cancels, some on piece including a few
with partial datestamp 'ties', minor duplication here & there, the quality is naturally variable but many are fine to very fine or better. Ex Grant Cahoon. As his note says: "Check for actual stamp + not photo copy" (!!). [See our website for
