217 O imageCOMMERCIAL PERFINS: Extensive collection 'A' to 'YR' in three large Hagner albums, highly specialised by perfin pattern & positions with many major misplacements, double & even triple strikes, patterns from the sublime to the ridiculous with tiny pins to ones that occupy more than half the stamp area, many better stamps to 1/4d - including a couple of very deep shades & a SMult Wmk Perf 14 - that we weren't looking for but we noted 1d reds array of shades, a Dry Ink & several Die IIIs, 2d brown block of 4, a few 4d lemons & many 4d blues, some plate varieties noted - including 1d red Substituted Clichés Die I x2 & Die II - but likely to be many more, condition variable which is normal for a collection of this nature that is all about the perfins. Ex Doug Brookson. Weighs 15kg. [Our vendor states "There are 784 different patterns, including 28 not listed in the Perfin Catalogue". Each pattern is represented on as many different stamps as possible.
