14172   image2011 Post & Go - Earliest known use of 3rd Birds issue in the whole country, the 'Holy Grail' of Post & Go. Cancelled 'BATH' on 6th May 2011, 13 days before the official date of 19th May 2011. Puchased at the Bath Postal Museum and affixed to 10 postcards ironically of the famous pre-issue of the Penny Black in Bath on 2nd May 1840. All 10 were sent through the normal postal service, address written in pencil under the receipt which matches the serial number of the stamp used and the date on which it was sent. The pre-issue error was detected and the Birds stamps removed from the machine until the correct issue date. With matching copy of Post Office receipt, information sheet and original invoice for purchase in 2011 of £180. 14173   image2011 Post & Go - Autumn Stampex. Arnold Machin labels available at Royal Mail stand for customers paying by card, labels coded 91 & 92. Royal Mail had further machine for cash customers coded 93 and later in the day code 94 was on the label. Enterprising dealer had 10 covers for each code prepared with an estimate that maybe 5-10 other covers may exist. Covers retailed for £100 in 2011, increasing to £200 two weeks later. Each cover has 6 Machin labels, each label with appropriate code, cancelled at 'AUTUMN STAMPEX, LONDON' on 14th September 2011. Light marks on 3 covers.
