1   imageTHE IMPERIAL STAMP ALBUM 1840-1928 THE IMPERIAL STAMP ALBUM - In our opinion in condition ripe for coninuation, the Stanley Gibbons produced fore-runner to the popular matched pair two volume NEW IMPERIALS. Impressive dark green leatherbound gold-tooled, gold edged leaves FIRST EDITION IMPERIAL STAMP ALBUM, printed leaves span classic period 1840-1928 period. Comprising impressive, apparently intact British Empire almost all USED collection (GB pages appear to have been picked, although before our time) - although a little residual value to the remaining GB, this is a CLASSIC USED BRITISH EMPIRE COLLECTION, surprisingly well-filled Empire QV, KEVII to KGV c.1928. Ranges run to intermediate values, with 1,000's of stamps the catalogue value will be substantial. Strength in popular areas - British Africa, India & States, Hong Kong and Malay, BWI, Australasia etc. Surprising stamps encountered which one would not really expect to find, hint that the collection for Empire is surprisingly original. Rather than enter copious description, we have taken 385 IMAGES which you can view online. Please request link to view 385 IMAGES, and whether or not bidding, enjoy reviewing all stamp filled leaves. In our opinion although probably almost 100 years old, this album is in good condition, still suitable for continuation of the collection.
