1844 AU+ detail w/ a light brightening. There are also (2) obv rim repairs at K8 and K1130. This example represents the "doubled-die" version of 1844 w/ a doubled shield and (4) lines on the shield stripes. A scarce issue in the series - only 20,000 silver dollars were minted in 1844.
