6		1859 XF or very nearly so. First official year of issue for the Indian Cent and the only coin bearing the laurel-wreath reverse, so its a one-year type coin. (A transitional pattern 1859 cent exists with the shield and oak wreath rev but they are quite scarce. Its interesting to ponder how many of the transitional patterns have been overlooked by collectors because the reverses of 1859 cents are rarely checked.)
