A LOVELY EXAMPLE OF THE 1851 1¢ TYPE III IMPERFORATE FROM THE THE POSITION BEARING THE FINEST EXAMPLE OF THIS TYPE - POSITION 99R2.
The
99R2 was a fresh entry over an original entry on the plate (portions of which can be seen in the right scrolls), which was short transferred at both the top and bottom. Because of this very short transfer at top and bottom of the design, it
