3002       German Area, Germany Cover Collection. Of about 450+ items running from a stampless 1832 to late 40s; includes many early States, Private Post Cards, Pnuematic Cards, good Empire through the Reich, some nice Commemorative and Propaganda cards, Saar, Censor, Military, Officials, Post War usage etc. majority sleeved and with some form of description, a very interesting group not in any order, also included (not counted) is a box of modern material from 1950s and on, probably close to 500 count with some better items, an accumulation worth your time to review as there are definitely some sleepers here, please inspect.

3003 /o      German Area, Collection, 1851-1980. Well formed collection in 2 Scott albums, with a high degree of completion throughout; some highlights include excellent States with Baden 1851 1k used, Bavaria from #1 and on with a very high level of completion, same for Bergedorf, Hamburg, Hanover, Prussia, Wurttemberg, Thurn & Taxis and so on with high values throughout, wonderful section of very well filled Colonies with Cameroun, high value ++, Caroline Islands complete except for #20, German East Africa, Belgium from N17, British N101-121, Togo from #63 (with Stolow cert) -91, French 158-59 used, 160-61 mint, Plebiscite areas very well filled, Memel, Danzig etc, Saar 39 used with BPA cert, Empire with earlier used, then 62-65 used, 65A mint, 115-117 used, then some 30s and Reich and a jump to 1947 with issues through 1980, finally with a very nice Offices section China, Morocco, Turkey and Officials, too much to describe as this collection needs to be properly reviewed; very high catalog value, worth careful evaluation.

Of several dozen singles, some sheets and a couple of sets; virtually all better material including German States with Baden 1862 18k green used (cat $575), four margin Oldenburg 1861 2g used (cat $450) and 1/3g green mint ($475), Reich issues with numerous Germania high values mint, German Offices in China 1905 1½d on 3m (regummed, cat $255), Flemish Legion 50fr sheet of four with 1943 red overprint inverted (Mi VIIIK, €400) Berlin 1848 red and black overprint sets mint (cat $513+) and a 1m red overprint used x2 (cat $400 each), couple good modern error sheets, etc.; worth careful evaluation.
