3465 /      Worldwide, Zeppelin collection. Both stamps and covers, a delightful collector-built group that begins with the US C13-15 set plus C18, all unused and hinged, plus an extra C14 used, with grade 85 PSE cert. Followed by a few dozen foreign sets and singles of the 1930s period, most unused, including Greece, Egypt, Germany, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Russia, Brazil, Bolivia, etc. Best is Germany C35-C45, unused (Cat. $2200). Then after some modern material, a group of about 30 or so US and foreign Zepp. covers from the 1930s. Best here is the US with a set of C13-15 singles each on flown covers, followed by yet another C15 single on a flown cover, plus two C18 covers, There is also eight Germany covers from the period, and more from Liechtenstein, Hungary and South America. Ends with about 60 Zepp unused postcards, a mix of older and modern cards.

Over 30 covers and cards and some interesting ephemera on pages in binder; includes 1912 Schwaben flight card carried six days before the Zeppelin crashed, various Graf Zeppelin flights, 1929 Round World flight usages, German Zepp issue usages, U.S. air ship flights, nice Russia polar flight cover, etc., ephemera including Clara Adams (first and only female to fly the Graf Zeppelin over the Atlantic) items including autographed 1934 time table and two pieces of Zeppelin skin purported to be from the Graf Zeppelin.
