3321 /o    19//40 Papua, "Lakatoi" Specialized Collection, 1907-1908. Which covers the small "Papua" overprint (19-26) and the small Papua (28-40) issues, several hundred mounted on quadrille page which are meticulously annotated, all values to 2s6p are included and in all cases, multiple example showing various plate flaws, upright and sideways watermarks, there are a good many mint multiples with many being plated, there are several with OS perfins and two items with double perf errors and much more, a superb holding with many better items in excellent condition with good color and centering, a very difficult study to undertake which undoubtedly must have taken years to put together.

3323       Papua, Sheet collection, 1907-1930. Group of 25 complete sheets of 30 or 40, plus some large multiples, included are small "Papua" overprint 1p & 2p (20-21), small Papua in tablet ½p, 1p, 2½p and 4p (34,35, 37,38), the 4p sheet is used (probably CTO), large Papua in tablet ½p sheets one with watermark upright the second inverted,1919, 2½p (65), 1917, 1p on ½p (74) with J.B. Cooke monogram, 2p on 1½p (88) two sheet with both Harrison and Mullett imprints, 1930, Airmail 6p (C3) and more, although there is some toning on some of the sheets the majority are above the norm, a substantial holding with some better items.

3326 /o    62 Papua, 1925 "Lakatoi" 1½p Plating Collection. A remarkable study of one hundred and twenty items on quadrille pages, showing characteristics of all 40 positions from the Harrison, Mullett and Ash printings displayed side by side to show the subtle differences from printing to printing, an outstanding assemblage which undoubtedly would be time consuming and difficult to replicate. 3327     C2-C4var Papua, Airmail Overprint Collection, 1931. Includes the basic set mint and used, 3p with "Accent on R of Air" used in block of 4, a very scarce variety which only happened early in the run and was corrected, 1s with "Comma between I and R" with overprint in scarcer carmine shade, upper left stamp on a mint block of 4, 6p with "Postace" variety along with a normal and more, overall condition is very nice, with bold color and good centering, a good grouping with some very scarce items.

A fabulous holding of over ninety items, both perfin and overprint types with values to the 2s6p, all watermark types both upright and sideways are represented, there are a good number of plate flaws on the stamps and a fair number of multiples with a sheet of 30 of the 2p being the largest, of special interest are the O S perfin varieties which include several proofs showing the spacing, blind perfs, broken pins, misaligned perfs, doubled perfs, 4p and 1s vertical pairs with one stamp without perfin and much much more, please inspect, a fabulous holding with many rare items.
