Hundreds of cover from the stampless period to the 1950's from many different town with many different usages: included are over one hundred stampless covers from many Eastern town, many additional cover franked with various adhesives from 1851-1880, some with postmark interest, there is also an exhibit collection of the West Whiteland Township, Pennsylvania 1826-1905, late 19th-early 20th century Navy cadet correspondence, plus a book titled Hawaii: Foreign Mail to 1870 by Fred F. Small lot of eight covers with various frankings and usages, included is a 3¢ on cover from Greenville, Maine with "1852" year date postmark, a cover to the Netherlands franked with 1¢ imperf + pair of 10¢ imperf tied by blue "Grand Rapids, Mich." cds's, two covers with 12¢ Bisect from San Francisco (one of the covers shows handsome embossed corner card for Pacific Pioneer Daguerrean Gallery), single 12¢ on small cover from New York to Philadelphia paying the four × 3¢ rate, 12¢ with strip of three of 3¢ from Providence, Rhode Island to Paris, condition is mixed with some faults however, this is a nice group and should be inspected.

Has advertising, neat postmarks, some pairs, one with 3 3c and a Due 3 marking, covers to California, etc. Some 10c green covers between West and East, a few entires, both 3c and 10c. Then a nice run of 1857s, including 1c, 3c, and 10c covers, including. one 10c cover with 2 Ty. III stamps from Stockton, Cal. to Mexico. Also a handful of CSA covers and a few Union Civil War Patriotics in 1861s. And Leavenworth KS fancy shield, a Buffalo checkerboard cancel, a Jersey Shore PA blue fancy star cancel, a Burlington, VT fancy cancel on an overall lumber ad cover. Ends with a dozen or so 3c 1869s, including. ads, fancy cancels, etc. Worth a careful inspection, many nice items.
