Canceled with San Francisco, Ca, Apr 9, 1902 machine cancel, Carson City Nev, receiving cds of the same day at lower left, the reverse is a credit memorandum from the Wells & Fargo Co., Bank, dated the same date with the amount credited of $148.94 in pencil also a very large red wax seal reading Wells-Fargo & Co, Stockton in the outer ring, the inner ring with image of an Eagle surrounded with the words Gold Deposit, Choice Very Fine, wax seals are brittle and often crack, one this intact is rare, a remarkable relic from a bygone age.
