A massive holding of regular and back-of-the-book issues mostly housed in 22 stockbooks and binders; starting with a nice selection of early 1865-72 Coat of Arms issues including several 1866 4r red high values and a very rare but faulty unused marginal block of 4 on piece, 1872 Second issues with a nice range of issues including postmark sections mainly on the ½r issue, 1881-96 Coat of Arms issues with strong */o duplication and better including the 5s violet high value mint in strong duplication, section of 1883 10c on 50c surcharges including double surcharges, 1892-93 Flores strong including telegraph and surcharges, large holding of the 1894-95 Rocafuerte issues including reprints, 1896 Liberal Party issues including sheets 1897 overprint including forgeries, 1896-1906 various surcharges strong with the array of varieties in quantities, nice showing of the later bicolor portrait issues mint with some heavy used quantities, section of district overprints, and later issues in lesser quantities but some of the better 1920 surcharges present, Airmail with some good first issues on with later overprints varieties (many unlisted), Air Registration issues in modest quantities, good showing of Officials with strong studies of the Seebeck issue and some later issues, Postal Tax including a specialized collection with virtually all major and most minor varieties represent, with additional stock including sheets, other issues present including revenues, telegraph, some good proof material, etc.; an excellent holding for the Ecuador specialist, inspection here a must.

Hundreds loose, on pages and in binders; with much in early 20th century strong in portrait issues including mixed issues frankings with surcharge issues, wonderful array of frankings, "fire" control issues, some good foreign destinations, registered, auxiliary, some bisects, few ad cover noted, later issues including airmails, official mail, packet mail, etc.; many good items throughout, careful inspection by specialist should prove rewarding.

Of over 40 large die proofs (15 on large card), various plate proofs, portraits and frame dies and numerous specimen overprints including marginal multiple; includes a few value tablet omitted and progressive proof items, couple unadopted essays proofs of the 1935 airmails, couple hand drawn essays for the 1934-45 Views issues and a couple progressive proofs of the same, etc.; a nice group for the specialist.
