Philadelphia. Imagined a Gothic Arched Hall is 80 feet wide an square long. With a row of counters on each side and large square stands down the center. The arch is draped with the tricolor and flags of all the nations are suspended at intervals.
Branches of the trees outside have been left through the walls and rows of chandeliers hang down each side. At the Western end an orchestra has been arranged and Hassler's Band play all the evening. From the Main Hall "Union Avenue", as it is called,
branch thirteen other halls running north and south and at the end of these again are halls running East and West. The North Hall is the Art Gallery. Nearly a square long, both halls are covered with paintings - the finest collection ever exhibited
here by far. The floral and horticultural display is beautiful. The gallery waters & smell of flowers enchants one. It is a perfect paradise and hours are not wanting to complete the picture. I can not give you a description of all of it for the
newspapers have had columns on two Sundays since it opened and are not done with singing its praises".; also with two different fair admission tickets for the "Fine Art Gallery" and the "Academy of Natural Sciences; cover with slight soiling and
