letter to Hacienda del Carro, used over three months after the release of the new 1861 issues to San Luis Potosi, Very Fine. Scott No. 2; Estimate $300 - 400.
San Luis Potosi received only the initial delivery, Invoice 130
on April 19, 1861, therefore the use of the previous issue is considered provisional. The lack of stamps is attributed to the blocking of deliveries by the Conservatives/Reactionaries (War of Reform). (Image1)
