Salvador, Specialized Early Issue Collection, 1867-79. Almost 2,000 stamps housed on early quadrille pages in two Simplex springback albums; starting with 1867 first issues including complete sheets of the ½r-2r issues (flaws) with other mint multiples and nice cancellation study including separate forged cancellation as well as a nice genuine cancellation study of grids, fancies, towns, etc., some 2r issues on portion of overseas covers, nice showing the 1874 "Contra Sello" overprint issues with mint and nice cancellation groups, and a large section of the 1879 issues with lots of mint with gum, print and shade studies and extensive cancellations; a nice real old-time collection and an excellent basis for further continuation.
