3916 /o      Great Britain, Outstanding Collection. A wonderful collection in one Gibbons Oriel album of parallel mint and used, full of important stamps and rarities with many of the Queen Victoria and Seahorse pound values, better mint includes 1841 1d Imprint Pair on deeply blued paper, 1882 £5 Orange with "Specimen" overprint, 1884 £1 Queen Victoria with "Specimen" overprint, 1902-10 2sh6d-£1, 1911-13 2sh6d-£1, the Seahorses are well represented with no less than 20 mint examples & 19 used examples including shades, better used includes three 1867 5sh, 1878 10sh & £1 (£1 with perfins), 1882-83 5sh-£1 (on bluish?), 1882-83 5sh-£1 (on white?), 1883-84 2sh6d-10sh (on bluish? one 10sh is reportedly the rare Cobalt shade?), 1883-84 2sh6d-£1 (on white, one 10sh is reportedly the rare Cobalt shade?), 1902-10 2sh6d-£1, mixed condition, however this is a great collection that must be viewed to be fully appreciated.
