Of 81 die proofs mostly Canada issues with some Newfoundland, virtually all mounted on card many with pencil "Index", "Format" or numbering notations, some with with pencil arrows to various areas of design, most if not all from the Banknote Archives; includes #1TCiv in combination with Newfoundland 1857 2d & 4d pair, #8TCii, Jubilees with complete issues with some additional in dual combination form, 1897 QV Maple Leaf issue similar with 2¢ & 3¢ die sunk on card (V.G. Green certificates), complete set of the 1903 KEVII definitive issue as well as the 1908 Tercentenary with an additional composite, 1911-25 KGV definitives complete with the 1¢ issues off card with perfin Specimen overprints, Newfoundland includes four #3 trial colors and other 1857 issues including 4d including trial color in green, 6d & 1sh in combination with 1865 12¢ issue (28); a truly remarkable collection of these unique engraver's working die proofs.
