Small drop rate handstamp on cover initially addressed to another town in Mississippi, franked with 1851, 3¢ dull red (11) tied by grid handstamp, matching "Natchez, Mi., Apr 4" cds with day corrected in manuscript, readdressed back to Natchez and likely hand carried to Natchez and dropped off at the post office, with additional "Natchez, Mi., Apr 20" cds; cover missing backflap and some nicks in stamp at upper right, F.-V.F., a very rare marking.
