Ill to West Liberty, franked with 1861 3¢ Rose (65, defective) tied by target with "Cairo, Ill Dec 31, '64" double circle postmark alongside, large "Due 3" in circle and obliterated with crayon, postmarked "West Liberty, O." cds with additional 3¢ applied to pay forwarding to Melmore O, tied by target cancel with Melmore arrival double circle, some cover restoration including top left corner with part of markings drawn in, Very Fine appearance, this is the only recorded example of this packet marking and an unusual usage, ex-Somdal.
