Faint strike of red oval handstamp on 1866 cover to Charlestown, Va. franked with demonitized 1857 3¢ Dull Red which has been partially torn off with straight line "Ship 6" rate handstamp alongside, docketing indicates the cover originated from Alexandria, La. and has a faint cds which probably is New Orleans, also included is 1865 printed & illustrated freight bill, F.-V.F., a rare & unusual usage of a "Old Stamp Not Recognized".
