TYPE V STAMP IN SUPERB CONDITION TRULY STANDS OUT. ONE OF THREE EXAMPLES TO RECEIVE THIS JUMBO GRADE WITH ONLY TWO EXAMPLES GRADING HIGHER (AT 98 AND 98J).
The 1857 1¢ Type V stamps are quite common and yet to find them in top-notch
condition, particularly with a color cancel, proves to be a daunting task. The stamp featured here boasts exceptional visual allure, with its vibrant color, exquisite clear red grid cancel, generous and well-balanced margins, and overall Post Office
