During the Civil War, from November 3, 1858 to November 30, 1858, the Zacatecas Postmaster moved to Aguascalientes, Sub-Office of the District, and due to the fact that handstamp device was lost, the Postmaster overprinted the stamps by hand, giving origin to the Zacatecs Manuscripts.
