Written up by hand on 55 pages comprised of the British Residency Period of 1816-1922; the British Legation Period of 1923-1946; and, the Indian Embassy Period from 1947-1966, much of the material was used as original research for the 1970 American Philatelic Congress Yearbook article, "The British-Indian Postmarks of Nepal", by Dr. Armand Singer, as each item was selected for "exhibition quality", overall condition is well above average for this period, generally Very Fine, Must examine to appreciate.

On 35 exhibit pages, comprised of: 1768 "Lal Mohur" (King's Royal Seal) dispatch from first king of the modern Nepal era, Prithivi Narayan Shah (includes translation); 1814 Anglo-Nepalese war cover sent by commanding general Bhimsen Thapa and Kaji Ranadhoj Thapa; 1815 Anglo-Nepalese war dispatch letter; range of clear handstruck seals from various officials reporting to the King in Kantipur (Kathmandu) about various wars or events in the countryside; 1856 historical Sepoy Mutiny cover with news that "British had suppressed the rebellion in Lucknow", minor duplication with a few faults on the earlier material, still useful for period research, generally F.-V.F. or better.

Extensive collection of the classic issues used to collect telegraph/telephone fees, Includes: 1a Recut emerald color errors in singles and multiples; 1a Recut block of 36 on complete telegraph form; single, pair, block of 4, block of 9 of the ½a orange vermilion (all not expertised); 1921 O'Sullivan cover (philatelic) franked with "complete set" of the telegraph issues including the ½a orange vermilion (O'Sullivan discovered the orange vermilion in Jan. 1921); complete sheet of the ½a black showing bottom row removed (two sheets recorded, this one illustrated in Hellrigl-Vignola); earliest known usage of the 1a, plate 2, block on dated partial telegraph form, nearly complete showing of the settings/printings of all values, neatly written up on 48 exhibition pages, expect the occasional small fault, generally F.-V.F. or better, Difficult to assemble to this level of completeness! Mounted on 171 exhibit pages covering Oval Sri Pashupati Design on Postal Cards and the first few years of Nepal's membership in the UPU (Nepal was admitted in 1959), on Postal Cards, Stamped Envelopes and Registration Envelopes, mint and used with a few registered frankings, varieties, print errors, FDC's and commercial usages, noteworthy items of the Sri Pashupati issue includes: the 2p proof of postal card inscription only; 2p die proof of the postal card indicia only; 2p triple print (2x on front, 1x on back) 8p stamped envelope printed on back; 4p envelope double prints of die; 4p envelope double print; of special note of the later issues are the "SPECIMEN" overprints on the 1959 4pa brown postal card and the 1962 4pa violet postal card, also including several pages with material outside the scope of the 1959-65 period, some duplication, as these were being selected for possible exhibition, condition is well above average, generally Very Fine, please inspect, an excellent opportunity to acquire the nucleus of a future exhibit collection.
