Tied by "Victoria, Seychelles, Jy 12, 35" cds's on registered cover bound for the 1935 Europa - South American Zeppelin flight from Berlin to Pernambuco, reverse with Nairobi registered and Mombasa transit date stamps as well as "Berlin, 31.7.35" flight cds and "Pernambuco, 4.VIII.35" receiving cds's, red German flight cachet and routing endorsement at upper left on front, Very Fine and choice, a remarkable Zeppelin flight usage from Seychelles. Vertical bisect in strip of 3, tied on cover to Porto Novo, Dahomey by three strikes of neat Anecho, Togo 20/12 (1914) postmarks, the mail was held until January and then dispatched with additionally postmarked Anecho, Togo 18/1 (1915) at left, backstamped with arrival cancel of Porto Novo, Dahomey 20.1.15, Very Fine and a very rare provisional usage to make up the 25c UPU rate, with 2001 Eichele certificate (which states that this corresponds with other items from this archive).
