Specially prepared Roessler card franked with 1¢ + 3¢ + 20¢ + 30¢ definitives, 1¢ with "Graf Zeppelin" overprint, tied by "Lakehurst, N.J., Oct. 28, 1928" duplex postmarks and addressed to Switzerland, violet flight cachet, Friedrichshafen and receiving backstamps, card with slight creasing, Very Fine, the 1¢ overprint was created by Roessler who was upset that the U.S. had not appropriately commemorated the Graf Zeppelin's flight, he almost went to jail for the fraudulently overprint.
