Durand, President of the Academy, New York N.Y."; stamp with a vertical crease on right side of Franklin's head, no gum, Fine appearance, a rare unused example of the Franklin Carrier stamp, with 1977 and 2013 P.F. certificates stating the stamp is genuine but declining opinion as to whether it passed through the mails.
