Horizontal strip of 3, the right stamp type IIIa, positions 54-56L4, beautifully centered with incredibly deep, rich color; canceled Jan 15 Bridesburgh, Pa. cds's; left & right stamps with very minor inconsequential flaws, otherwise Extremely Fine. A choice multiple, with 2012 & 1984 P.F. certificates, the latter erroneously calling all type III and not noting faults.
Scott No. 21, 22; $3,900.

There appears to be a break in the bottom outer line of the right stamp, but it is very small and must be at least 2mm to be considered a type III. Neinken/Ashbrook classify all stamps from position 56L4 as type IIIa.
