ONE OF THE FINEST OF ONLY NINE RECORDED EXAMPLES OF THE 1857 5¢ SECOND PRINTING DOUBLE IMPRESSION ARE REPORTED.

According to Fred Gregory, at least two sheets of 20 were double printed. On stamps from one sheet, the double impression is clearly visible along the left side of the design, but the entire design does show doubling. On the second sheet, the doubling is clearly visible across the entire design. (Image1)
