1264 E    120-E image1869 (24¢) Declaration of Independence vignette essay, in black. On card (210x140mm). Oval style view with ornate frame with patriotic motifs, with "Declaration of Independence, Engraved by American Banknote Co." at bottom, Very Fine, this engraved design, based on the painting by John Trumbull, was also used on the reverse of the U.S. $2 banknote, another similar large engraving is known but with the view in octagonal form similar to the stamp design.
