2643   Dominican Republic, Forgery Collection, 1865-1931. Specialized collection of approximately 200 items neatly mounted and written up on pages; includes scarce #1 Schroder forgery, the "Dominicaine" page from the Fournier 1928 book followed by comprehensive showing the 2nd forgeries including bogus paper color types, multiple, etc., later issues including 1880's surcharges, 1900 Map issue including blocks and used (N. 2659       France, 1918 YMCA French Army Secretary Correspondence to Colorado. About 65 letters sent in 1918 by a YMCA secretary attached to the French army to his wife in Colorado, letters, along with a few cards and collateral material, provide a nuanced picture of how the YMCA functioned in WWI; mixed condition.
