letter to Mexico City originating from Republican held Piedras Negras, all tied by oval San Luis Potosi handstamp (Schatzkes 1446), with enclosure written in English by Hugh Franklin Young, a prominent agent for the Confederacy,
carried across the lines and posted in Imperial held San Luis Potosi, with interesting content regarding the CSA Texas-Mexico cotton trade, Very Fine, a very rare across-the-lines usage with "at least two" per Pietsch (page
