and cards and hundreds of stamps of the period; starting with an introduction and a study of the Paris star cancel with an early 1852 cover usage followed by several cover to the U.S. and England, various other cancellation of the period shown
including dotted, grid and large square dotted rollers, experimental 36 large square dot cancel on cover to Austria, followed by the various issues noting type I & II star cancels, the 39 Bureau numeral stars represented on the perf'd Empire and
Laureated issues then reiterated on various issues inter dispersed with on cover usages including 3-color franking to Berlin, Prussia, 5fr Laureated with six off cover examples and on a three color franking registered cover, section of the hollow
star cancels, similar representation of the following Ceres issue including Ballon Monte and foreign destination usages including 40c+80c pair usage to Veracruz, Mexico and a 1874 usage to Guadalajara, Mexico, section of each bureau cancellation on
