Lot 102 - 1859, Freimarkenausgabe Wappen von Lübeck, 2 Schilling rötlichbraun auf kleinem Briefstück mit dem sehr seltenen Fehldruck "ZWEI EIN HALB" im linken Schriftband. Die Marke ist durch den Fünfstrichstempel des Stadtpostamtes perfekt entwertet, an drei Seiten tangierender Schnitt und unten mit kleinem Randspalt. Da dieser Fehldruck im Bogen nur auf den Feldnummern 97 und 98 vorkommt, resümiert der Experte Mehlmann BPP in seinem FA "Gestempelte 2 Schilling-Marken mit dem Fehldruck "ZWEI EIN HALB" ge.... Dear collector, dear friends of the Thomas Schantl auction house, I am extremely pleased to be able to announce a varied range of international philately, including the third part of the Victoria collection, with our 5th Online LIVE auction . With around 2,700 Lots, we offer you the entire spectrum from classic philately with a Basler dove to modernity with very rare individual prints by the Austrian Post Office.

In our 5th auction, we have a further focus with attractive demand receipts from many areas, including Old Italian States, France, Great Britain and Old German States. Our Historika department offers around 400 lots of medals and decorations, propaganda cards and special features. Due to the enormous number of lots, we decided to spread the auction over two days.

So please mark red on your calendar on Friday, July 31st and Saturday, August 1st, 2020. It starts at 11:00 am As always, participation is straightforward: You can submit your bids in writing in advance, or even better: You are online live on both auction days and thus have the opportunity to bid on your favorite lots directly in real time.
