Signed Commander J.F. Calvert and sent to Rear Admiral John A Tyree Jr on the date first submarine to break through ice at North Pole. Calvert later served as the 46th superintendent of the United States Naval Academy. Actual historical letter accompanies describing the scattering of Sir Hubert Wilkins ashes as he wished.
