Historical Business Cover from W.D. Boyce Publishing Company - Business Cover from the William D. Boyce Publishing Company originating in Chicago, IL mailed in 1894. W.D. Boyce ultimately became the principal organizer and
founder of the Boy Scouts of America in 1910 and Lone Scouts of America program in 1915 to further meet the needs of boys not being served in rural areas. He financially supported the BSA and later the LSA organizations in their early years until
they became established and financially stable organizations. Included is a 50th anniversary historical summary of the life of W.D. Boyce produced by supporters of Scouting along with the interesting 1894 business cover sent before his association

Historical Cover from Maj. Gen. Robert Baden-Powell Sent From Cape Town South Africa - Handwritten cover from Maj. Gen. Robert Baden-Powell originally sent from Cape Town, South Africa to his brother Francis (Frank)
Baden-Powell in London in September 1900. Cover was free franked "O.A. Service, R. Baden-Powell, Maj. Genl" as authorized to those on active military service in the British Army to allow the British Forces Post Office (BFPO) to process mail without
regular postage affixed by the sender. Correspondence included is a letter written on Baden-Powell family stationery in November 1900 by his mother's Secretary sent to someone whom admired Maj. Gen. Baden-Powell at that time and had requested a copy
of his signature. Note the letter is glued to the reverse of the envelope and neatly mounted to an exhibit type page with documentation. (Est $250-$300)

signed by William Hillcourt, known in Scouting fame as "Green Bar Bill." The reverse of the cover was a message promoting the Boys Life Magazine sent monthly to Scouting members in the United States. Included separately is a one-page summary
