368 imageSt Christopher Very Advanced Collection, 1835-1890 - Once an old-time exhibit, this collection of stampless covers, stamps (virtually complete), stamped covers, surcharges, stationery, cancellations, makes this one of the best we've encountered! Starts with a pair of stampless covers (1835, 1845), two Great Britain issues (Scott 27) cancelled "A12" as forerunners, then mint and used with better like Scott 3, 5, 6 etc. There are sheetlets of 25 of Scott 8, 9, 12, and 14. The bisects of 1885 are plentiful, mint and used with several unsevered. The surcharges of late 1880s show several varieties also. Many items are in the $100+ range. An excellent collection worth considering. F-VF throughout.
