Summer has arrived and Sterling Stamps announces the 3rd auction of the year on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 10am EST, with pre-auction bidding ending Saturday morning at 6am (EST). Please note we go live online at 10am on both Stamp Auction Network and our website https://auctions.sterlingstamps.com accessed from teh link below. This auction offers many nice singles, sets, covers, specialty items, and collections and accumulations. We are still offering low start bids and a competitive buyer’s premium (15%) and never overcharge for shipping!

Here are some of the highlights:

  • The USA section consists of several 19th singles and multiples (many with certs) highlighted by an unused Scott 1 block/4, Scott 7-8-7 used strip of 3, Scott 63c used with vertically laid paper, Scott 95 unused block of 4, Scott 122 used with preprinting paper fold, Scott 218 used block of 15 on piece, Scott 272a MH Plate # Strip/3 (8¢ Sherman Wmk ISIR), and several unused Zeppelins. There is a Medicine stamp selection of a couple dozen select singles, a nice selection of Essays and Proofs, with several lovely multiples and complete sets.... And don't miss the Canal Zone offerings, with several Scott-listed varieties.
  • Many US collections, lots, sheets, postage, covers, and accumulations.
  • Better foreign singles and collections including some nice China and European offerings and wonderful Zeppelin topical and cover collections.
  • Our usual lots, collections, boxlots, accumulations, cover lots, and literature that round out the auction are well worth reviewing.
