Sterling Stamps Sale - 23B

Mail Bid/Internet/Live Internet Auction - March 25, 2023

With Spring just around the corner, Sterling Stamps announces the 2nd auction of the year on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 10am EST, with pre-auction bidding ending Saturday morning at 6am (EST). Please note we go live online at 10am on both Stamp Auction Network and our website https://auctions.sterlingstamps.com. This auction offers many nice singles, sets, covers, specialty items, and collections and accumulations. We are still offering low start bids and a competitive buyer’s premium (15%) and never overcharge for shipping!

Here are some of the highlights:

  • Several late 19th and early 20th century singles with mint Washington-Franklins, an unused set of Zeppelins, Baby Zeppelin blocks, revenue imprinted checks, and Mosher listed express labels on receipts. Once again, there is another nice selection of Specimens, Essays and Proofs, with several lovely multiples and complete sets.
  • Many US collections, lots, covers, and accumulations.
  • Better foreign singles and collections including British Colonies, China and areas stamps and covers, and a few better British singles.
  • Our usual lots, collections, and more than usual amount of boxlots, accumulations, with cover lots that round out the auction are well worth reviewing.
Live bidding is available on Stamps Auction Network and our website, https://auctions.sterlingstamps.com, (without audio), beginning at 10am ET, allowing you to bid against floor, phone and other internet bidders.

Phone bidders please make arrangements well before auction day.
