Lot 35 - USA Scott 292 Unused, F-VF BLOCK OF 4 with 2020 Crowe Certificate - Cert states "genuine, unused, with mount glazed original gum. The left vertical pair in the block with a tiny wrinkle (mostly affecting the lower left stamp)." There are some perf separations between top and bottom right stamps. A rarely offered multiple. (SCV $7000).... Currently US$ 2,000

Mail Bid/Internet/Live Internet Auction - November 28, 2020

Sterling Stamps announces their Thanksgiving weekend auction with pre-auction bidding ending at 12 noon (EST) on Saturday, November 28th. This auction is loaded with some nice singles, sets, covers, specialty items, and collections and accumulations. We are still offering low start bids and a competitive buyer’s premium (15%) and never overcharge for shipping!

Highlights include:

  • Nice selection of individual US stamps and blocks, many with certificates. we are offering Scott 78c used blackish violet shade, Scott 129 Reissue MNG VF80, Cattle in the Storm Scott 292 Unused block of 4, Scott C7-9 Airmail full sheets, postage dues Scott J29 and J59 unused, better officials and newspapers, several better revenues like Scott R102a, inverts R115a, R135b, and better silver tax like Scott RG27 and RG106 (one of 12 known!). You will also see revenue collections with a large dealer stock of Match and Medicine, and revenue document lots.
  • A fabulous Canal Zone Collection with much specialty material.
  • Imperial China covers and stamps and People’s Republic of China stamps, including the 1980 “Monkey”.
  • Germany Scott 65B, 3pf. "Vineta" used on piece with 1975 Brettl Certificate.
  • Our usual foreign collections and accumulations, along with some interesting literature including a Whites Encyclopedia of Colors Vol I-IV.
