Mail Bid/Internet/Live Internet Auction - August 22, 2020

Sterling Stamps announces another small auction with pre-auction bidding ending at 12 noon (EST) on August 22nd. This auction is loaded with some nice singles, sets, covers, specialty items, and collections and accumulations. We are still offering low start bids and a competitive buyer’s premium (15%) again making this auction appealing to the collector and dealer. Highlights include:
  • A very nice selection of individual US stamps, many with certificates, including Scott 122, 292, 313 and R132
  • People’s Republic of China stamps
  • French Colony mint collections, all pre-independence
  • Several mint sheet and postage lots
Live platform bidding is available on our website while we continue keeping the other options (Stamp Auction Network, email, phone, and snail mail) available. With smaller auctions, we still hope to keep collectors and dealers interested since we will offer lots that span the globe.
