USA Ephemera: 1837 'The Globe' Washington 2 double-sided broadsheet pgs with various articles etc & 70+ small classified adverts inc 'Cash for Negroes - I will give the highest price for likely Negroes from 10 to 25 years of age'. 1717 Massachusetts Bay Colony Tax Receipt signed His Majesties Treasurer Jeremiah Allen, with background info. 1736 'Gentleman's Magazine' (pgs 235-80 & 283-96) with numerous essays, news etc, noted report of £10,000 from Parliament for establishment of Colony of Georgia. 1751 folded letter with transcript. To Vernon Bros in Newport Rhode Is who were prominent traders of African slaves at the time. 1770 Gentleman's Magazine pgs 99-144 with essays, debates, commentary etc inc reports on visits to by American colonists to argue the 'no taxation w/o representation'.
