Boxed PAID in red along with 6/8 chargemark and a further charge of 2/3 in red manuscript with H.HEMPSTEAD undated cancel and LONDON d/r cds, two nice Italian cds one in red plus two line PONT / FAUVOISUN h/s in black. Contents in English relate to impressions and drawings for different friends and customers and adjustments to the printing stone, but also comments on the new Queen Victoria at only 18 years and royalty is to Toryism but I get she is on the other side...transcript accompanies. Addressed to Seymour Kirkup an English painter / antiquarian in Florence, likely sent from Henry Noel offering his impressions and prints.
