Very interesting history.

Addressed to New Concord, KY, the cover is opened roughly at right with some foxing. The Clip, TX Post Office was established March 8, 1898 and discontinued July 15, 1898, which was only three months and one week. Clip was about 5-7 miles south southwest of Goliad, TX.
