Sam Houston Philatelics next auction will close on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM, Central Time. The sale contains 670 lots, with material in all price ranges and something for everyone, collectors and dealers alike.
UNITED STATES, There are (63) U.S. lots offered, with a few great Classics (e.g. 9X1 New York provisional and Scott no. 2); late 19th Century issues and Banknotes (about a dozen) and include several early booklet panes. There are various
turn-of-the century issues, Washington/Franklins and 1920's issues, about 30 lots; and a few Modern issues (1930 - current).
COVERS, There is a selection of covers (46); (22) Commercial and (24) First Day, including a $2.00 Prexie (Harding) with Crosby cachet.
AIRMAIL AND BACK OF BOOK ISSUES, There are (49) lots; an interesting mix of Air Post, Postal Insurance, Officials, Stationary, Revenue, and Proofs.
ERRORS, FREAKS, AND ODDITIES, There are (20) lots; with several interesting misperfs and color mis-alignments.
CONFEDERATE STATES & UNITED NATIONS, (14) lots are offered with a nice selection of CSA (10) and (4) United Nations.
AUTOGRAPHS & MISCELLANEOUS, There are (28) lots offered, with (8) Autograph lots, and a few Cinderella Literature and miscellaneous lots.
GENERAL FOREIGN, COLLECTIONS, There are about (180) lots to consider. Highlights include useful Italian and Netherlands collections. There are also several interesting Topical collections
DUCK STAMPS & PRINTS, Contains (256) lots with Souvenir Cards (some rare and/or scarce) and (6) FDC's with several Judith Fogt one-of-a-kind cachets; Junior Duck stamps, and about (40) Federals from which to pick. Also, there are several Federal
Errors, some Artist Signed Federal Stamps and Artist Signed State issues as well. There are State Duck singles and errors, Governor''s Editions, Society, Conservation and Fishing and Reservation stamps. Finishing up the sale, are (5) Federal Duck
prints, (9) State Duck prints, and a half dozen Conservation prints.
