The Sale contains 1298 lots, representing Gold and Silver Coins of the People's Republic of China, Finland, and Russia, Worldwide rare stamps, and postal history items. This Sale represents the property of 34 owners.

The Auction offers:
  • 168 lots of Gold and Silver Coins from the People's Republic of China, including the first issue commemorating the 30th Anniversary of the Republic; Finland and Russia of all regimes;
  • United States - Classic stamps, modern imperforated varieties and color errors, including several complete imperf panes;
  • Nice selection of Great Britain and British Commonwealth, with:
    • Proofs and varieties of Canada,
    • Comprehensive Collection of Hong Kong, including strong Classic items,
    • The valuable Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Kenya, and Uganda,
    • Nice range of King George V, George VI, and early Queen Elizabeth II issues in MNH condition;
  • Beautiful lots of Baltic States, including plate proofs and multiples of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania;
  • TRADITIONALLY COMPREHENSIVE RUSSIAN MATERIAL:
    • Imperial Postage Stamps and Postal History include several proofs of stationery items, beautiful early sets in sound condition, the Pierre Mouchon Nicholas II essays, and various postal history material;
    • RSFSR Issues, are representing imperforated singles of the "Sword Breaking Chain" of 35k and 70k, "Star" surcharges and range of the last RSFSR Definitive issue;
    • Soviet Union Section starts with a Collection of Complete Sheets and Large Blocks (part II), which includes many valuable items and groups of sheets; it follows by imperforated varieties, such as Zamenhof, 10th Anniversary of the Revolution, 1st Trans-Polar Flight, Papanin's Expedition, Coat of Arms from 1948, numerous other rarities from 1930-80s;
