Hendin 1273. TJC 129. AJC II 250,1. RPC 4988. Rough surfaces. Very Fine. This coin and the following two coins were issued to commemorate Agrippa's re-founding of Caesarea Paneas as Neronias. It was once believed that the IE in the reverse legend referred to a date, but this is not correct, instead, it is part of NIE, the abbreviation for the name of the mint city Neronias.
