3894 on cover imagePicture postcard of the battleship Gneisenau, sent as a field post card during World War II, cancelled with a silent field post stamp dated 25. 2. 40 - 21 and a service seal for Field Post Number M31314, 2nd Destroyer Flotilla, or 2nd Destroyer Division, addressed to Field Post Number M09369, destroyer Z1 \Leberecht Maas\, with the note \Unfortunately undeliverable, recipient fallen in action\. Condition: preserved with a few pieces of tape. The Z1 \Leberecht Maas\ was attacked on 22. 2. 1940 by a group of He111 bombers from the II. Group of the Kampfgeschwader 26 and accidentally sunk.
Ansichtskarte des Schlachtschiffes Gneisenau, gelaufen als Feldpostkarte 2. Weltkrieg, entwertet mit stummem Feldpoststempel 25.2.40 -21 und Dienstsiegel Feldpost-Nr. M31314 2. Zerstörer-Flottille, bzw. 2. Zerstörer-Division, adressiert an Feldpost-Nr. M09369 Zerstörer Z1 \Leberecht Maas\, zurück Vermerk \Leider unbestellbar, Empfänger auf dem Felde der Ehre geblieben\, Bedarfserhaltung mit ein paar Tesafilmstreifen. Z1 \Leberecht Maas\ wurde am 22.2.1940 durch einem Bombenangriff einer Gruppe He111 der II. Gruppe des Kampfgeschwaders 26 angegriffen und versehentlich versenkt. 		Startgebot/Start Bid €150
