803 ^ imageTwo pieces of Americana. Includes a funeral notice for Charles Brown who was killed on October 5, 1892 in Coffeyville, Kansas by the Dalton Gang. This is an example of rare Old West memorabilia. Likewise entails a letter from Nathan Leopold Jr (1904-1971) who with Richard Loebs was the murderer of Bobby Frank on May 21, 1924 in Chicago. Just before his death, Leopold wrote to a person who wishes to know the history of his family name. Exasperated by this inquiry, he replies with sarcasm. An interesting historical item.
