A
powerful New Zealand collection begins with 12 mint and 4 used Chalon Heads. They are followed by an impressive group of 50 mint small rectangulars on various papers with several perforations. Extensive coverage is maintained throughout the
collection with the exception of the postal-fiscals. Of special interest are the pairs of 076-83 with joined ff variety in combination with normal. (Image) (image002)

Nicaragua impressive collection of hundreds of stamps in two volumes. There are scores of errors and varieties for pre-1940 issues, and numerous miniature and souvenir sheets 1937-1959. Scarce to rare items, like C10a with APS cert, are
present. This lot needs careful viewing for those who want to collect this area. (Image)

Fantastic Nyassa collection with every major number and a whole lot more. The 1901 definitives with inverted center are present. The scarce 1903 provisorio issue has APS certs, as do the 1921 Lisbon inverted surcharges (84b, 85a, and
88b). The 1921 pictorial set is complete in both perforations. (Image) (image002)

Philippines excellent collection. The Spanish Dominion is quite strong, with some very difficult items like the 1879 UPU set. From 1887 on, the country is nearly complete except for the Victory handstamps. A good number of the
1899-1931 regular issues are NH. (Image) (image002)

Poland fabulous collection that begins with a mint #1 and used #1b. The 1918-1919 issues are largely complete and have quite a few errors and minor varieties. Most of the high catalog Cracow issues are signed, and the Gniezno stamps
have a cert. From that point the country appears to be complete for the basic issues with the vast majority NH. Additionally, there are loads of extras: errors, imperfs, B59-62 strips of 10 with labels, WWI locals, and WWII DP and concentration
camp issues. (Image) (image002)

Portugal extensive collection that looks rather sparse because of the detailed pages. The 19th century issues contain many stamps that are difficult to obtain in mint condition. Three have ISPP certs and several are NH. What few
reprints there are placed on pages made for them. Throughout the collection there are numerous paper, shade, and perforation varieties as detailed in the Simoes Ferreira, Eladio de Santos, and Nucleo Filatelico specialized catalogs. From 1898-1960
nearly all major numbers and souvenir sheets are present, much NH. A great lot for the Portuguese specialist. (Image) (image002)

Portuguese colonies group consisting of the entities comprising subdivisions of Azores, Madeira, Portuguese East Africa, and Portuguese Congo. Mozambique Company is the best, but all 11 colonies are either complete or nearly so. Plenty

Portuguese Guinea collection begins with very strong crown issues. The large GUINE overprint is found on most values perforated both 12 1/2 and 13 1/2. There are overprint varieties, errors, and 1885 and 1905 reprints as well. The
small GUINE is present on the 25, 40, 100 and 200 reis values. From 1886-1959 the collection is largely complete, with additional minor varieties. A really tough collection to duplicate. (Image) (image002)
